St. Edmund-LaGrange football game called off Thursday night due to lack of communication

LAKE CHARLES – The non-district football game between the host LaGrange Gators and the St Edmund Blue Jays was canceled Friday night due to a lack of communication with LHSAA football officials.

St. Edmund head coach James Shiver told Crescent City Sports that there was a miscommunication between the Lake Charles Football Officials Association and LaGrange High School in scheduling the game officials.

Both teams have been in contact with the LHSAA office, awaiting word on their decision on potentially rescheduling the game this weekend.
