St. Augustine junior Kenyon Hughes Jr. will be one of 10 players from MLB Youth Academy facilities to be honored prior to Game 2 of the World Series Saturday night in Arlington, Texas.
The 2023 @MLB Youth Academy Youth of the Year will be recognized during the pregame of Game 2 of the World Series in Arlington, TX!

Hughes, who was the MLB New Orleans Youth Academy “Youth of the Year,” will join representatives from the nine other youth academies across the United States and Puerto Rico at Saturday’s game.
The award recognizes a Youth Academy member who has had a positive year on and off the field, has overcome challenges or made a positive impact in their community.
The World Series between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers begins Friday night in Arlington.
