St. Aug, Curtis runners shine in LSU High School Indoor Classic

It was a good day for a few local performers Saturday at the LSU High School Indoor Classic at Carl Maddox Field House.

In boys competition, St. Augustine won the 4×200 meter relay and Zander Dunbar of the Purple Knights won the 800 meter run in a time of 2:00.31. Gabriel Byrd of St. Aug was second in the 400 meter run.

Justin Horne of John Curtis Christian won the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 8.09.

Krosse Johnson of Holy Cross finished second in the 60 meter run.

Luke Regan of Brother Martin finished third in the 3,200 meter relay.
