Southeastern Athletics Announces Fall Schedule Updates
HAMMOND, La. – Due to the effects of Hurricane Ida on the Southeastern Louisiana University campus, SLU Athletics has announced several schedule changes for its fall sports.
The No. 13/14 Southeastern football team’s scheduled home game versus Northwestern State and the Hall of Fame festivities associated with the contest on Sept. 25 has been moved to Nov. 13. Tickets issued for the Sept. 25 game will be honored on Nov. 13.
The floor at the University Center, home of Lady Lion volleyball, was damaged during the storm. As a result, SLU will move its home volleyball matches for the 2021 season to the Pennington Student Activity Center on the Southeastern campus.
