HAMMOND, La. – Southeastern Louisiana baseball and softball are slated to be part of Cox Sports Television’s 2018 Southland Conference broadcast schedule, the network announced Thursday.

One Lady Lion softball game and a pair of Lion baseball games will be carried live. All Southland Conference broadcasts, including Southeastern’s, will be available on ESPN3 (outside of CST’s coverage area).

Rick Fremin’s Lady Lion squad, led by preseason All-Southland players Mahalia Gibson and Kinsey Nichols, face Arkansas in the Lion Classic I, Feb. 10, at North Oak Park in Hammond.

With All-Southland performers Drew Avans, Corey Gaconi and Taylor Schwaner returning, Matt Riser’s baseball squad will matchup against nationally-ranked LSU, Feb. 28, at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. Later in the season, the Lions will once again appear on CST during a game April 11 at UL Lafayette.

Cox Sports Television is available to more than 5 million households across 18 states.

Season tickets are available for as little as $60 at softball and $103 at baseball. For more information on purchasing Southeastern season tickets, contact the Southeastern Athletics Ticket Office at (985) 549-5466.
