Cabrini made the trek to Chalmette and handled the Owls 11-0 in a shortened five-inning game Tuesday afternoon.

Senior Danielle Williams was tremendous, belting a grand slam and a two-run home run while sophomore Kai Williams drilled a solo home run to pace an 11-hit attack for the Crescents (2-0). Williams started things with her two-run homer in the first before breaking the game open with the grand slam in the fourth inning.

Senior Taylor Crawford picked up the win, allowing just three hits to Chalmette.

Cabrini will next play in the Hahnville Catfish Classic Friday and Saturday against Mount Carmel and Dominican while the Owls (1-2) will play at Ponchatoula Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
