Area Prep Softball Report for Saturday, April 24

The season came to an end for No. 7 Academy of Our Lady Friday as the Penguins fell to No. 2 seed St. Thomas More 12-2 in the Division II quarterfinals in Lafayette.

St. Thomas More will take on No. 3 Haynes Academy in the semifinals.

Coming off of a 21-9 upset win on the road at No. 7 Eunice, Belle Chasse seeks a second upset, an even bigger one, at home against Beau Chene Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in the Class 4A quarterfinals.
