Softball: Northshore scores walk-off win over Dominican

In the Chalmette Tournament, Northshore scored a run in the bottom of the seventh in a 4-3 win over Dominican to remain unbeaten.

Freshman Ella Sanchez decided it with a walk-off double.

Appalachian State commit Jenna Samuel picked up the win, allowing just two hits with nine strikeouts. Samuel helped her own cause, driving in a run with a sacrifice fly.

Northshore (5-0) plays twice today in the Chalmette Tournament.
