Softball: Kenner Discovery scores impressive win over South Terrebonne

Kenner Discovery had a field day, routing South Terrebonne 18-0 in the Terrebonne Tournament on Saturday in a game shortened to six innings by the mercy rule.

Kenner Discovery put the game away with nine runs in the sixth inning. The Swamp Owls had 14 hits, led by Ella Guidroz who was 3-for-4.

Alyssa Duhe pitched a complete game shutout for the Swamp Owls.

Kenner Discovery (3-2) will host Grace King Tuesday at 4 p.m. while the Gators (0-6) will host Covenant Christian at 2 p.m.
