Soccer: St. Thomas Aquinas downs Country Day

St. Thomas Aquinas scored an impressive 3-1 win over Country Day Saturday in boys soccer.

Junior Adam Hetzinger continued his outstanding early season play for the Falcons. After a scoreless first half, Hetzinger scored on a penalty kick to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead in the 52nd minute. He added an insurance goal to make it 2-0 before Avry Townsend scored the final goal. Kade Ridgedell was solid in goal for St. Thomas Aquinas (3-1-1).

The Falcons will next face Holy Cross Tuesday at 5:30 p..m.
