Soccer: Riverdale boys stay unbeaten; Mount Carmel looks to rebound

Riverdale remained unbeaten with a solid 7-1 victory at Belle Chasse Monday.

John Perdomo scored a pair of goals to pace the Rebels to the victory.

Riverdale (3-0) has scored 15 goals in its three wins. The Rebels return to action Wednesday at St. Martin’s Episcopal at 5:30 p.m. while the Cardinals (1-3) face Patrick Taylor next Monday at 6 p.m.

In girls action this evening, Mount Carmel (6-1) hosts Lakeshore (0-3) at 7 p.m. at Pan American Stadium. The Cubs are coming off of their first loss of the season, a 2-0 defeat at the hands and feet of Acadiana at Pan American Stadium this past Saturday.
