Soccer Report: St. Paul’s, East Jefferson post impressive wins

St. Paul’s picked up where it left off a year ago, scoring a pair of second half goals to down Jesuit 2-0 at Hunter Stadium Tuesday night.

After a scoreless first half, Justin Savoie scored a pair of goals in the second half to produce the victory.

The Wolves travel to Gulfport, MS to play Gulfport High while the Blue Jays host St. Augustine next Monday.

East Jefferson doubled up Lusher 4-2.

Eric Lara led the way with a pair of goals while Eric Gunera and Jose Jimenez each scored a goal for the Warriors.

East Jefferson returns to action Friday night at Slidell while the Lions are at Northlake Christian Thursday at 7 p.m.
