Soccer Report: Covington sweeps three matches at Piney Woods Invitational

Playing in Covington, the Covington Lions made themselves at home by sweeping three matches at the Piney Woods Invitational Saturday at the Covington Youth Soccer Academy.

The Lions remained unbeaten, downing Bonnabel 3-1, defeating Chalmette 3-1 and blanking St. Michael 4-0.

With the trio of victories, Covington improved to 4-0. The Lions have outscored its opponents 14-2. They return to action Tuesday at Fontainebleau at 7 p.m.
