Soccer: Mandeville boys remain unbeaten with two wins Saturday

Area Prep Soccer Report for Sunday, Nov. 20

In area boys soccer action Saturday, Mandeville remained unbeaten, winning a pair of matches, shutting out Chalmette 2-0 and blanking Terrebonne 5-0 in the Piney Woods Tournament.

In the win over the Owls, junior Jack Watkins and senior Jack Solis each scored a goal while senior Hendrix Rigaud recorded an assist.

In the victory over the Tigers, five different players each scored a goal for the Skippers, including seniors Merritt Sweeney and Ashton Zeron, juniors Kota Henry and Trace Lauga and sophomore Max Jacketti. Henry added an assist.

Mandeville (5-0) will host Dutchtown on Nov. 29.
