Area Prep Soccer Report for Friday, Nov. 17

In girls soccer action Thursday, Kenner Discovery blanked Belle Chasse 6-0 in Kenner.

Senior Alina Paiz had a huge game with a hat trick and added an assist while junior Valeria Gabrie added two goals. Eighth-grader Luftia Amireh added the other goal. Tabitha Kadinger had eight saves in goal.

The Swamp Owls (2-0) return to action Saturday in New Orleans against McGehee.

The Cardinals (0-1) will host Patrick Taylor Nov. 27.
