Soccer: John Ehret girls impressive in win over Riverdale
Area Prep Soccer Report for Friday, Nov. 18
After dropping its season opener to powerful Mount Carmel Academy, the youthful John Ehret girls soccer team bounced back well Thursday with a solid 5-1 victory over Riverdale at Hoss Memtsas Stadium.
The Ehret squad lost n one seniors from last year’s team and features six first-year starters.
Those new players played well as freshman Elizabeth Avalos and sophomore Xnai Landry each scored a pair of goals while junior Tenosh Landry added a goal in a solid performance
The Patriots (1-1) return to action on Nov. 28 against Helen Cox at Memstas Stadium.
