Soccer: Hannan boys, McGehee girls win Monday

Area Prep Soccer Report for Tuesday, Jan. 11

Archbishop Hannan won a 1-0 thriller Monday over St. Martin’s Episcopal in Metairie.

Senior James Pham broke a scoreless match with 10 minutes remaining on an assist by Carson Presser. Keeper Ignacio Fernandez pitched the shutout in goal.

The Hawks have won three straight matches and will travel to University High Wednesday.

McGehee rolled over Belle Chasse 7-0 at Tad Gormley Stadium.

It was 3-0 at halftime before McGehee broke it open further with four second half goals.

The Hawks got two goals each from Kendall Joseph and Sophie Shaw.

McGehee (6-4-2) returns to action against Destrehan (5-7) at 5 p.m. this afternoon in a match you can watch live at CrescentCitySports.com.
