Soccer: Belle Chasse, Rummel post shutout wins Thursday
Area Boys Prep Soccer Report for Friday, Dec. 7
Belle Chasse downed Landry-Walker 2-0 for its first win of the season.
Senior Caleb Kinter had a goal and an assist to pace the Cardinals while sophomore Dylhon Martin added the other goal for Belle Chasse, who scored a goal in each half.
Belle Chasse returns to action hosting Ben Franklin Monday at 6 p.m. while Landry-Walker (3-5) will play at Riverdale next Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Jefferson Playground.
At Destrehan, Archbishop Rummel picked up its first win of the season, downing the Wildcats 2-0 behind a pair of goals from Cade Dalferes. The Raiders (1-2-1) return to action Saturday at Newman at 11 a.m. while Destrehan (3-2) travels to Central Lafourche next Tuesday at 7 p.m.
