SLU’s women’s basketball game at Houston canceled

HAMMOND, La. – The Southeastern Louisiana University women’s basketball team’s scheduled nonconference contest at Houston on Wednesday has been canceled due to health and safety protocols within the UH program.

Southeastern will be back in action when it travels to Katy, Texas to compete in the Southland Conference Tip-Off Event on Jan. 3-5. The Lady Lions will open the tournament with a 7:30 p.m. contest versus McNeese next Monday in the Merrell Center. All of SLU’s tournament games will be televised on ESPN+ and can be heard online at www.LionSports.net/listenlive.
