HAMMOND, La. – The reigning Southland Conference champion Southeastern Louisiana University football team is ranked 19th in the latest Stats Perform FCS Top 25 and 22nd in the AFCA FCS Coaches Top 25 released Monday.

SLU (0-2) faced its second straight FBS foe last Saturday. The Lions took a 7-0 second-quarter lead and were tied 7-7 at halftime with a South Alabama squad that returned 19 starters from a 10-win 2022 roster.
