Saturday home contest for Cakes against Chihuahuas postponed

Saturday’s scheduled game between the New Orleans Baby Cakes and El Paso Chihuahuas was postponed due to rain.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday starting at 1 p.m. Gates will open at 12 p.m. with pregame catch on the field.

Rain also helped force a Friday evening doubleheader deep into the night and into Saturday morning between the two teams.

Fans holding tickets to Saturday’s game can be redeem them for a ticket to any Baby Cakes game for the remainder of the 2017 season, subject to availability.
