Four Louisiana high school baseball teams nationally ranked

Two Louisiana Class 5A programs are among the Top 25 high school baseball teams in the nation, according to Baseball America.

Sam Houston (14-0) is ranked fifth and Zachary (12-1) is 22nd in the magazine’s national poll.

In the Perfect Game rankings, Sam Houston is ranked 30th but rival Barbe comes in higher at 12th nationally. Defending Division I champion John Curtis is ranked 38th by PG.
