The NFL has suspended New Orleans Saints receiver Kawaan Baker for the first six games of the regular season, the team announced.

Baker, a 2021 seventh round draft pick out of South Alabama, violated the league’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. He can participate in practices and preseason games. Baker is eligible to return to the active roster following the Week 6 game against the Bengals.

However, with only two games under his belt with only special teams snaps as a professional, the 6-foot-1, 215-pound Baker faces an uphill battle to make the team.
