Davis signed a three-year deal with the Saints two years ago after the Jets decided to replace him with Avery Williamson.
In New Orleans, the Arkansas State product emerged as a leader and star, notching 221 tackles, nine sacks, two forced fumbles, an interception and a fumble recovery in 32 games the past two seasons. Davis was a first-team All-Pro in 2019.
In the past few days, the Saints managed to lock up the 31-year old Davis and running back Alvin Kamara to contract extensions.
