Saints sign third-round pick Tre’Quan Smith

New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced that the club has signed wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith, the club’s third-round draft pick (91st overall). Now the club’s entire 2018 draft class is under contract.

After redshirting as a freshman in 2014, Smith started his next three seasons at Central Florida. He played in 38 career games with 36 starts and left the school having caught 168 passes for 2,748 yards (16.4 avg.) with 22 touchdowns. He led the team with 54 receptions for 1,082 yards (19.9 avg.) and 13 touchdowns for the 13-0 Knights in 2017 and was an American Athletic Conference first-team selection.
