The Saints have restructured the contract of safety Marcus Maye, Field Yates of ESPN reported Wednesday.

Maye agreed to have $6.07 million of his 2023 salary converted to signing bonus, opening up $4.856 million in cap space for the upcoming year.

After signing with New Orleans last offseason from the Jets, Maye had 60 tackles and a forced fumble in 10 starts last season.
