Saints RB Kamara agrees to restructured contract to create cap space

Saints running back Alvin Kamara is the latest player on the roster to agree to a restructured contract.
Field Yates of ESPN reports that the team has converted $10.465 million of Kamara’s 2022 salary into a signing bonus, moving $8.372 million of a scheduled $11.5 million cap hit for 2022 over the following three seasons.

Kamara faces a battery charge after an arrest in Las Vegas last month. His hearing in the case is scheduled for late next month.
