Saints place Michael Thomas on injured reserve
On Friday, the Saints ruled Michael Thomas out for Sunday’s game against the Chiefs due to an ankle injury.
Now their star receiver is out for the rest of the regular season.
The Saint placed Thomas on injured reserve, meaning he will miss the final three regular season games.
Saints’ WR Michael Thomas is being placed on injured reserve due to the ankle injury that has lingered since Week One.
Saints now will be without Thomas for the rest of the regular season, but they expect him close to 100 percent for the start of the postseason.

Thomas is eligible to be active again for the first week of the playoffs.
