Taysom Hill will be without the left side of his offensive line for his second career start at quarterback Sunday in Denver.

Saints left tackle Terron Armstead has tested positive for COVID-19 Saturday. He confirmed the news via Twitter.

Found out this morning that I tested positive for Covid!” he wrote. “I feel completely normal and ready to go play with my guys tomorrow. Unfortunately that can’t happen … I can’t downplay the impact covid has had on so many lives. Everyone stay safe.”

The timing of the positive test likely takes Armstead out of next Sunday’s rematch with the Falcons in Atlanta.

With Andrus Peat (concussion) already ruled out for Sunday, the Saints will bring up Will Clapp from the practice squad.
