Saints-Lions Injuries: Davenport, Lattimore do not practice Thursday
The concerns for the struggling Saints defense keep increasing on the injury front.
Defensive end Marcus Davenport and cornerback Marshon Lattimore both missed practice Thursday after participating in limited fashion Wednesday.
While Davenport has yet to play in 2020 due to an elbow injury, he now appears to have picked up an injured toe. Lattimore’s hamstring injury threatens his availability for Sunday’s matchup with the Detroit Lions.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Lattimore’s injury isn’t considered to be serious but it is up in the air whether he can play “with such a quick turnaround time.”
#Saints star CB Marshon Lattimore tweaked his hamstring in practice yesterday. Not considered major. But with such a quick turnaround time, something to watch. https://t.co/9e7wMjA5lS

Wide receiver Michael Thomas was again limited after returning to practice Wednesday for the first time since an ankle injury in the season opener. Two other starters on offense – OG Andrus Peat and TE Jared Cook – sat out for the second straight day.
Detroit added cornerback Darryl Roberts is their injury list with a hip issue but only one player missed practice.
The Saints face the Lions at Ford Field at noon Sunday.
