Saints injury report improves; Washington lands on IR

Four players returned to practice for the Saints Thursday in advance of their season finale against the Carolina Panthers Sunday in the Caesars Superdome, while another saw his season come to an end.
Running back Dwayne Washington, who has dealt with migraines over the last month of the season, was placed on injured reserve by the club.
While cornerback Paulson Adebo and guard Andrus Peat did not practice again on Thursday, four others who missed Wednesday’s practice returned to the field on a limited basis – tackle James Hurst, tight end Juwan Johnson, safety Marcus Maye and tackle Ryan Ramczyk. Linebacker Chase Hansen, who was limited on Wednesday, was a full participant on Thursday.
The Saints and Panthers kick off at noon Sunday. The game will be televised by Fox.
