Saints Hall of Fame inductee Tyrone Hughes to appear Aug. 29 before Dolphins game at Museum
Saints Hall of Fame inductee Tyrone Hughes will appear at the Saints Hall of Fame on Thursday, Aug. 29 from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. prior to the New Orleans Saints preseason game against the Miami Dolphins.
A defensive back and kick and punt return specialist, Hughes played in 63 games for the Saints from 1993-96 and made the Pro Bowl in 1993, when he returned two punts and one kickoff for touchdowns. Hughes had four interceptions and three fumble recoveries, including two returned for touchdowns with the Saints. Hughes was in on 67 tackles. A New Orleans native who attended St. Augustine High School, Hughes was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame in 2015.
The Saints Hall of Fame Museum is located at Gate B on the Plaza level of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The museum is open for two hours prior to each New Orleans Saints home game and for 45 minutes following each home game. The museum is free of charge on game days to all holding tickets to the game.
The museum is open by appointment weekdays between 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at a cost of $10 per adult, $5 for seniors, children under 12 and military.
