Saints Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic to feature 44 current and former players

A total of 44 current New Orleans Saints players, coaches, executives and prominent former players will participate in the 29th Annual Saints Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic on Monday, May 16 at 9 a.m. at Chateau Country Club in Kenner.

Presented by the Saints Hall of Fame, the New Orleans Saints and the City of Kenner, New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President and General Manager Mickey Loomis, along with head coach Dennis Allen will lead the way. Assistant coach and former star player Zach Strief is also slated to play in the event.

Among the Saints alumni are eight Saints Hall of Fame inductees – Jim Dombrowski, Dalton Hilliard, Tyrone Hughes, Rickey Jackson, Joe Johnson, Michael Lewis, Deuce McAllister and Jim Wilks.

The event also features a taste of New Orleans, with 22 local restaurants and caterers participating with at least one stationed on each hole.

All proceeds from the golf classic benefit the non-profit Saints Hall of Fame Museum.
