Saints Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic set for May 20 at Bayou Oaks
The 27th Annual Saints Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic is set for Monday, May 20 at 9 a.m. at the Bayou Oaks course at City Park.
New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton will participate, along with many current New Orleans Saints players, several Saints Hall of Fame inductees and many prominent New Orleans Saints alumni.
Executive Vice President and General Manager Mickey Loomis is expected to participate as well.
The tournament is a scramble with the top three teams in the net event receiving prizes.
The event is a taste of New Orleans, with 22 restaurants and caterers providing outstanding food with a restaurant on every hole.
An awards function follows which will include a silent auction of outstanding sports memorabilia.
All proceeds benefit the non-profit Saints Hall of Fame Museum, located at Gate B on the Plaza level of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The cost is $1,500 for a foursome with a Saints celebrity, $1,200 for a foursome and $300 per individual.
