Saints Hall of Fame Celebration, Auction, Celebrity Golf Classic set for May 20-21
A pair of outstanding events including prominent New Orleans Saints alumni, along with many current New Orleans Saints players and coaches are coming up in late May.
The 2018 Saints Hall of Fame Celebration and Auction will take place on Sunday, May 20 from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. at the New Orleans Saints indoor facility at 5800 Airline Drive in Metairie.
The event includes cookout foods, along with beer, soft drinks and ice tea. Children can enjoy both the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans Experience on the indoor playing field which includes football and basketball themed inflatable interactive games on the field of the team’s indoor facility.
The live auction will include many outstanding New Orleans Saints and Pelicans items, along with a deluxe restaurant package.
The Saints Hall of Fame class of 2018 will be introduced at the function.
The cost is $25.00 per person. Children 12 and under are admitted free (limit two children per family).
The 26th annual Saints Hall of Fame Celebrity Golf Classic is set for Monday, May 21 at 9 a.m. at the City Park South Course at Bayou Oaks.
Join Saints head coach Sean Payton, executive vice president and general manager Mickey Loomis, many current Saints players, Saints Hall of Fame inductees and other Saints alumni for a day of golf and outstanding dining on an excellent golf course. Foursomes have the ability to pay for a Saints celebrity to play with them in the scramble format event.
The event includes a taste of New Orleans, with 23 restaurants and caterers providing food, along with beer, soft drinks and water. Each golfer will receive a New Orleans Saints polo shirt and cap. An awards luncheon will follow in the clubhouse which will include a silent auction of sports memorabilia.
The cost is $300 per golfer, $1,200 for a foursome and $1,500 for a foursome with a Saints celebrity.
