Saints-Bears Injury Reports: WRs Michael Thomas and Marquez Callaway out

The Saints will have to try and win in Chicago while decimated, at least temporarily, at the wide receiver position.

Rookie Marquez Callaway (ankle) and Michael Thomas (ankle/hamstring) have been ruled out for the Bears game. Meanwhile, Emmanuel Sanders remains unavailable on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Tre’Quan Smith, Deonte Harris, Austin Carr and rookie Juwan Johnson are the remaining options available at wideout for New Orleans (4-2).

The team also ruled starting guard Nick Easton (concussion) out for the 3:35 p.m. Sunday contest at Soldier Field.

After leaving last week’s win over Carolina injured, left tackle Terron Armstead (elbow) was limited again Friday but appears set to give it a go against the Bears.

Chicago (5-2) has ruled out center Cody Whitehair (calf). Star wide receiver Allen Robinson (concussion protocol) was listed as doubtful before clearing protocol Saturday, meaning he is likely to play.

Elite edge rusher Khalil Mack (ankle) and safety Eddie Jackson (Knee) are among the Bears listed as questionable. Jackson practiced fully while Mack was limited on Friday after missing practice all week. Mack managed to play this past Monday night in limited snaps despite the injury.

Former Saints tight end Jimmy Graham (NIR-Rest) and receiver Ted Ginn (NIR-Rest) will face their former team this week as well.
