Ruston High School to again host the LHSCA’s I-20 Bowl

2018 I-20 Bowl All-Star Rosters

RUSTON, La. – Ruston High School’s T.L. James Field at L.J. “Hoss” Garrett Stadium will once again be the host site for the Louisiana High School Coaches Association’s East-West All-Star Game, affectionately dubbed the “I-20 Bowl.” The third annual all-star game, which is sponsored by Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar, is scheduled to kickoff at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15.

The I-20 Bowl features standout high school football players from the northeast and northwest sections of Louisiana. The rosters are comprised of approximately 35 to 40 players from the five football classifications of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.

Sterlington High School’s Lee Doty and Haughton High School’s Jason Brotherton will serve as the head coaches of the respective teams. Doty, whose Sterlington Panthers will face the Eunice Bobcats on Sat., Dec. 8 for in the Class 3A State Championship, will coach the East. Brotherton, who will coach the West, guided his Haughton Buccaneers to a 9-3 record and advanced to the second round of the Class 5A playoffs before losing 37-6 to No. 4-seed John Ehret.
