With both teams coming off of losses, Archbishop Rummel entertains Holy Cross in opening game of a two-game series Friday night at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium.

The Raiders lost to Archbishop Shaw 7-4 Wednesday night while Holy Cross lost to Hahnville 3-2 Monday night.

The Raiders (14-10, 3-5) are led by senior centerfielder and UNO commit Evan Francioni and senior catcher Jake Fury. The Tigers are led by seniors Chris Collet and Alex Wiltz.

Rummel is likely to pitch sophomore Matt Villa while Holy Cross is expected to counter with sophomore Nico Saltaformaggio.
