Rodriguez, Gomez, Rednour top All-Jefferson Parish soccer team

Midfielder Kenny Rodriguez of Grace King, goalkeeper Eric Gomez of John Ehret and coach Jonathan Rednour of East Jefferson top the All-Jefferson parish soccer team for the 2018 season.

Rodriguez is the offensive MVP, Gomez is the defensive MVP and Rednour is the coach of the year.

Rodriguez helped the Fighting Irish finish 15-2-3, reaching the regional round of the Division I state playoffs.

Gomez helped John Ehret to a winning record at 10-7-2.

Rednour coached the Warriors to the semifinals in Division II, beating Central, previously unbeaten Riverdale and third-seed Ouachita Parish in the playoffs before falling to Beau Chene in the semifinals.
