Reports: Saints part ways with offensive assistant Dan Roushar, plan to keep OC Pete Carmichael, Jr.

The New Orleans Saints have made their first significant coaching move of the offseason by parting ways with run game coordinator/tight ends coach Dan Roushar. The move was first reported by Jeff Duncan of The Times-Picayune.
Roushar had been with the Saint since 2013, serving first as running backs coach and then coaching tight ends in 2015. He became offensive line coach in 2016 and then moved into the role of run game coordinator and tight ends coach in 2021 with the arrival of Doug Marrone.
Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football also reports the Saints will likely make more coaching changes on the offensive side of the ball but is keeping keeping Pete Carmichael Jr. as offensive coordinator.
While the defense under first-year head coach Dennis Allen improved as the season progressed, the Saints ranked 19th in total yards and 22nd in points scored in 2022.
