The Saints are placing cornerback Patrick Robinson on injured reserve, according to multiple reports. The offseason signing suffered a broken ankle during Sunday’s win over the Falcons.

Early reports indicated the former Saints first rounder who revitalized his career with the Eagles had a high ankle sprain.

The slot cover man was taken off on a cart in Atlanta.

Robinson is in the first season of a four-year, $20 million contract.
