Reports: Ex-Newman OC Kilgore, Saints staffer Doyle hired by Payton in Denver

Sean Payton’s new NFL coaching staff is adding even more New Orleans flavor.

Logan Kilgore, Arch Manning’s offensive coordinator at Newman this past season, is joining the new Denver Broncos staff as a quality control coach with the passing game, Football Scoop reported Wednesday.

Kilgore was hired just this past December for his second stint on the Arkansas State staff to serve as the tight ends coach. He was an offensive analyst at A-State in 2021.

Meanwhile, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports that another Saints staffer – Declan Doyle – is also heading to the Mile High City to work for Payton.

Declan Doyle is leaving the Saints to join Sean Payton’s coaching staff in Denver, according to a source. Doyle spent the last four years serving as an offensive assistant and coached the tight ends at the Senior Bowl.

Declan started hos coachiing career as an offensive student assistant at the University of Iowa before joining the Saints four years ago.
