Report: Tulane baseball assistant Billy Jones leaves program
Tulane assistant baseball coach Billy Jones is “no longer with” the Green Wave program, according to a Twitter post by D1Baseball.com’s Kendall Rogers Tuesday night.

Rogers went on to add that the reason for Jones’ departure is “medical issues,” and out of respect for Jones, he would not elaborate.
Jones, a former head coach at Appalachian State, joined Travis Jewett’s staff last year. He has also been an assistant at Oregon State, Arizona State, North Carolina State and Oklahoma State.
