Report: Tim Quarterman took loan from agent while playing at basketball at LSU

Former LSU guard Tim Quarterman reportedly received a $16,000 loan from NBA agent Andy Miller of AMS Sports while still playing for the Tigers, Yahoo Sports reports.

Quarterman, who played at LSU from 2013-2016 under former head coach Johnny Jones signed with Verus Management – and not AMS – after the 2015-16 season.

The report comes as a small part of a much bigger story in college basketball these days. Miller and AMS are currently under investigation by the FBI for their involvement in paying money to college athletes.

LSU athletic director Joe Alleva issued the following statement in response to the report:
