LSU could have been facing a total roster overhaul this offseason but the Tigers have gotten more good news. Skylar Mays and Marlon Taylor are returning to the program, reports Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

The senior duo joins sophomore guard Javonte Smart as LSU players who previoudly announced plans to enter the 2019 NBA Draft only to choose to return.

Mays, a 6-foot-4 guard out of Baton Rouge, started every game for the Tigers last season. The three-year letterman was LSU’s third leading scorer (13.4 points a game) while playing the most minutes total and per contest (33.1).

Taylor, a 6-foot-5 guard who joined the Tigers prior to last season from Panola College, played in all 35 games and started in 24 while averaging 6.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.

Out of the other LSU players to declare for the draft, top scorers Tremont Waters and Naz Reid will turn pro while head coach Will Wade awaits word on forward Emmitt Williams.
