Report: Saints to sign veteran safety Jeff Heath

The Saints will sign veteran safety Jeff Heath, Tom Pelissero of NFL.com.

The 30-year old has started in the NFL for most of the past four seasons. Heath spent seven seasons with the Cowboys, starting in the final three (2017-19) before spending 2020 with the Raiders and leading Las Vegas in interceptions with three.

Overall, the Saginaw Valley State product has 11 career interceptions.

New Orleans tired out Heath and fellow safety Andrew Sendejo on Friday.
