Adam Trautman

Second-year tight end Adam Trautman was in the midst of having his best game of the season Sunday for the Saints.

Then, as has so often been the case in 2021 for New Orleans, the injury bug hit.

According to a report Monday by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Trautman will be sidelined 4-6 weeks with a MCL sprain.

Nick Vannett, Juwan Johnson, Garrett Griffin and practice squad member Ethan Wolf are candidates to fill the void at tight end along with potentially the versatile Taysom Hill.
