The Saints held rookie minicamp this week, and a trio of tryout players impressed enough for a further look.

Former Purdue nose tackle Lorenzo Neal, Jr., ex-Ohio linebacker Quentin Poling and former Stanford offensive tackle Kyle Murphy will be signed by the team, reports ESPN’s Mike Triplett.

The 6-foot-3, 325-pound Neal is the son of former Saints fullback Lorenzo Neal, Sr., one of the best lead blockers in NFL history.

Poling (6-1, 235), a former 7th round pick in the 2018 draft by Miami, has spent time on the practice squads of the Dolphins, Raiders and Vikings with one career regular season appearance.

Murphy (6-6, 305) was drafted in 2016 by the Packers in the sixth round. He played six games in Green Bay before ending up on the Rams and Texans practice squads.
