Report: Saints guard Andrus Peat has surgery on arm, out 6 weeks

Saints left guard Andrus Peat had surgery Wednesday for a broken arm, according to ESPN’s Adma Schefter who also says Peat is expected to be out six weeks.

A Pro Bowl selection last season, Peat left this past Sunday’s loss to the Falcons with the injury. The former first round pick is in the last year of his contract.

The Saints listed that Peat did not practice Wednesday along with top cornerback Marshon Lattimore (hamstrong) on their injury report.
