Report: Rams seek interview with LSU’s Cortez Hankton for offensive coordinator opening

LSU hired away a big name from Georgia recently but an NFL team could potntially do the same to the Tigers.

The Super Bowl champion Rams are looking to interview Cortez Hankton for their vacant offensive coordinator job, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reported Friday.

Hankton left national champion Georgia last month to become LSU’s passing game coordinator/receivers coach Cortez Hankton for the position.

The 41-year old New Orleans native who starred at St. Aug and Texas Southern also played four years in the NFL with Jacksonville.
